The works of Karen Irmer convey existence as a state of permanent transition. Although they were created in very diverse landscapes, they can never be definitely located. With her film “Looploop” the artist created a poetic work about change and its ways of perception.
Subtle alterations of a landscape-still, bearly discernible in this dose do unfold in this silent and contemplative work. Inperceptible one atmospheric image is fading into another – a fascinating quiet and gentle metaphor about the course of live.
